Web Awareness for Division I -

bullet A Safe Safari (from Safety net at @Learn) provides information for students on basic web safety issues.  While the text is too difficult for younger children, this is a good place to visit to get key information.
bullet Privacy Playground * - a game created by the Media Awareness Network  for children between the age of seven to ten-year to show them "how to spot and avoid potential online dangers, which may range from Internet marketing ploys to actual threats."  Includes a downloadable game and a teacher's guide.
bullet Introducing the Internet * - a lesson plan by Valerie Steeves for students in grades 2 to 5).

Web Awareness for Division II -

bullet A Safe Safari (from Safety net at @Learn) provides information for students on basic web safety issues.  This may be a good place to start.
bullet The Safety Highway * (some simple yet effective suggestions for students)
bullet CyberSense and Nonsense * - a game created by the Media Awareness Network  for students between the ages of nine and twelve learn to help them "distinguish between biased, prejudicial information and factual, objective information, and to detect bias and harmful stereotyping in online content. Players are introduced to an accepted online code of conduct ("netiquette"), and to the concept that information isn't necessarily true, just because it's on the Internet."  Includes a downloadable game and a teacher's guide.
bullet Introducing the Internet * - a lesson plan by Valerie Steeves for students in grades 2 to 5).  
bullet Research Relay  * - a fun lesson idea for teaching students the advantages and disadvantages of doing research on the Internet or through books.  Something like this would make a great tech project.

bullet Media Launchpad (from The Association for Media Literacy by teacher Neil Andersen).  Contains suggestions for sites to visit and teaching ideas to make students aware of the messages in electronic media.
